Barone appeared as Gail Cunningham, a chef in Seinfeld's Episode The Shoes from the fourth season. She coveted Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was a cast member of Carol & Company, starring alongside Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone was Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife during the first Friends appearance.
